Tour Itinerary in Detail
Leh
On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and escort you to hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar Overnight at Hotel.
Leh - Monasteries
Day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace, Sindu Darshan and Ranchoo school. Overnight at Hotel.
Leh - Pangong (135 Kms, 5 Hours)
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. Continue drive to Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Overnight at Camp.
Pangong - Shyok - Nubra (150 Kms, 5/6 Hours)
After breakfast drive to Nubra via Shyok river. on the other side you dip into Nubra valley which is more greenery than Leh finally reach to the camping site by the noon time. check into the hotel and afternoon leave for the local sightseeing of Diskit town which is the main town of Nubra valley and Hundar where you will enjoy to see the sand dunes which is famous for its own beauty. Overnight at Camp.
Nubra - Khardungla pass - Leh (130 Kms, 5 Hours)
After breakfast drive back to Leh via Khardungla pass. The elevation of Khardung La is 5,359 m (17,582 ft). Khardung Pass is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The pass is on the Ladakh Range, north of Leh, and connects the Indus River valley and the Shyok river valley. It also forms the gateway to the Nubra Valley, beyond which lies the Siachen Glacier. A motorable road through the pass was built in 1976, and opened to public motor vehicles in 1988. Afternoon reach Leh Hotel. PM free for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Leh - Delhi
Transfer in time to the airport to connect to the onward flight for Delhi. We wish you a pleasant flight ahead!
